My name is Ken Harge. I’m that guy who thinks up a bright idea then jumps into the deep end of the pool and does big things. I’ve known fear, lack of self-worth, and past failures. I have been beatdown and abused by a father who meant well but didn’t quite know how to show it. I’ve been divorced and failed at more relationships than I can remember. Never one to let hard times and disappointments define me. I speak from a place of knowing what it’s like to be at the end of the rope, and then somehow hang on long enough to climb back up. So now, it is my duty and privilege to use my power and talent to do some great things.
After learning to play piano in grade school and eventually embracing technology I learned my way around a recording studio. I’ve produced many songs over the years, composed music scores for a couple of films, and even composed and recorded a full-length symphony you can hear on YouTube called “The Healing”.
I’ve had a podcast also on YouTube called “Kicking it with Ken” talking about uplifting and motivational topics. “Hello Sunshine” is my daily newsletter written to to help folks get a bright positive start to their day. I wrote and performed a one man play called “You Are Here for Something Great, and authored an inspirational novel by the same title.
Using my knack for learning how to figure things out, a skill my father taught me, I became a home improvement contractor doing everything from completely renovating bathrooms to building decks. So yes…I do a lot!
Now with this new venture “The Stand-up Man” I am seeking to do some of the most important and impactful work of my life. I understand how a scourge of violence, broken homes, and deflated dreams has brought havoc to our world by the hands of mostly men who are broken or just don’t feel good about themselves.
Through this platform I want to inspire, educate, and build men up to realize the fullest most positive version of who they are. In doing this I think we can change the world for the better.
I know for a fact that “You Are Here for Something Great”, and I am determined to help you live into that greatness.
This is who I am.
